The Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) has released the counseling schedule for M.Phil Clinical Psychology 2023, along with the list of eligible candidates for the counseling session.
Here is the schedule of counseling –

Documents Required
The applicants must be available with the following documents –
- Certificate and Marksheet (Masters in Psychology)
- Original Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
- Income Certificate (for EWS)
- NOC, for in-service candidates
- Fellowship Award Certificate (for exempted candidates)
- GURET Application Form and Admit Card
Note: The candidates must also Email all the above-mentioned documents to cp@lgbrimh.gov.in latest by August 03, 2023.

Department of Clinical Psychology at LGBRIMH
The Department of Clinical Psychology of LGBRIMH runs a 2 years full-time M.Phil Clinical Psychology course, which is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as well as affiliated with Gauhati University, Guwahati. The course needs trainees to undergo supervised training in psychological assessment, Psycho Diagnostic, Neuro Psychological, and rating scales. The trainees also get more chances to enhance learning Psychoeducation, Brief Counselling, cognitive remediation, and psychotherapy with children and adults.
During this course, the trainees are assumed to present self-study assignments and deliver presentations on academic topics at the department and inter-departmental levels. The department undertakes teaching assignments for trainees of different courses of the institute. The department, through MEET LGBRIMH, has been actively involved in training and serving competence to young psychologists through a course of Youth Mental Health & Peer counseling.
