Nai Subah Institute of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences (NIMHABS) invites applications for admission to the M.Phil in Clinical Psychology program for the academic session 2025. About NIMHABS
Nai Subah Institute of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences, NIMHABS, has been helping people with mental health and disabilities since 2003 in Varanasi. Its goal is to raise awareness about mental health, support people with disabilities, and provide rehabilitation services.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission
- Applicant must hold a Master’s degree in any specialization of Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates who have appeared for their final post graduated examinations are also eligible to apply, but must submit their passing certificate at the time of the interview.

Application Fee: 2000 (Two thousand)
At the time of application submission, you’ll require the following documents:
- Original certificates and mark sheets, along with self-attested copies of each, from Class 10, Class 12, graduation, and post-graduation.
- Caste/Category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/Non-Creamy Layer/Divyang), MP domicile certificate, and income certificate (if applicable), along with originals and self-attested copies.
- A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer is required if the applicant is currently employed.

Exam Pattern:
- The Question Paper of entrance exam will have two parts respectively, Part-A (Research methodology) & Part-B (PG level psychology questions). Each part will consist of 50 MCQs.
- Each question will carry 1 mark, with no negative marking.
- Candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in the entrance examination to qualify for the interview.
- All applicants who qualify the entrance examination must appear for the interview to be considered for admission to the MPhil in Clinical Psychology program.
