LGBRIMH Tezpur, Assam is the oldest and most popular Mental Health hospital and institute in the North Eastern Region of India. The institute has various medical and behavioral sciences departments working for the betterment of mental health including Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry Social work, and Psychiatric Nursing Departments.

Essential Qualification
To be eligible for the post of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, the candidates should have completed the programs mentioned below:
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from a university recognized by the UGC.
- M.Phil. Clinical Psychology from an institute recognized by RCI.
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institute /university.
To be eligible for the post of Clinical Psychologist, candidates should have completed M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from an institute recognized by RCI with a valid CRR.
Emolument Details
The selected candidates for the post mentioned above will be receiving the emoluments as given below:

Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment
Candidates, who are applying for the posts mentioned above should read the instructions carefully before applying.
- The appointment may be terminated at any time, giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary to the appointee. However, the Competent Authority reserves the right to terminate forthwith without assigning any reason thereof.
- The appointee shall not be eligible to any other benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, etc. or any other benefits available to the Government Servants, appointed on a regular basis.
- The appointee shall not have any claim or rights for regular appointment to any post at LGBRIMH.
- If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves to be false or if he /she is found to have wilfully suppressed any material, or information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as the Government may deem necessary.
- LGBRIMH reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
- The result of the selection will be available on LGBRIMH website. Candidates will not get any information individually for this.
