Eligibility Criteria for MPhil Clinical Psychology
To apply for the MPhil Clinical Psychology program at NIEPVD, Dehradun, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology from a UGC-recognized university
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks
- SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 50% marks

Method of Selection & Exam Pattern
Selection for the MPhil Clinical Psychology program will be based on:
- Written Entrance Test &
- an Interview
Following is the Exam Pattern for MPhil Clinical Psychology:
- Examination Timing: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Reporting Time: 9:00 AM
- Medium of Examination: English
- Mode of Questions: Objective Type (MCQs)
- Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Difficulty Level / Syllabus: Postgraduate (PG) Psychology Level

Application Process and Fee
- To get admission in the MPhil Clinical Psychology Program, offered by the NIEPVD, applicants must fill out the online application form.
- Applicants need to select their preferred programme, i.e., MPhil Clinical Psychology.
- Then, applicants must carefully complete the application form and upload all required documents.
- After filling out the form, applicants need to pay the application fee and upload the proof of payment. The application fee is as follows:

Important Notice Regarding Online Fee Payment
Applicants may occasionally face technical difficulties while making the online application fee payment. Candidates are advised to first attempt the payment through net banking.
If the payment is still unsuccessful after reasonable attempts:
- Take a clear screenshot of the error or issue
- Upload the screenshot in the designated “Fee Payment Proof” section of the application form
- Clearly describe the problem being faced
- Email the issue along with the screenshot to the official email ID mentioned in the prospectus
The Institute may allow candidates facing genuine technical issues and providing valid details in their application form to pay the fee after reaching the Institute.
The Institute will allow such applicants to deposit the fee on the day of the entrance examination before the exam begins. Only candidates who successfully complete the fee payment process can appear for the examination.
